Go Digital Science and the GDPR

Go Digital Science and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Our Commitment to You and Your Data

Go Digital Science is committed to protecting personal data and privacy. As a cloud-based company entrusted with user data, we are continuously evolving our Privacy Program to address privacy laws around the world, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What is the GDPR?

The GDPR is a comprehensive data privacy law that will go into effect in the EU on May 25, 2018. The regulations standardize the treatment of personal data belonging to EU citizens — empowering individuals to manage their data privacy and strengthening data protections. All businesses that handle the personal data of EU citizens must take steps to ensure their compliance with the GDPR, even if the business itself is located outside of the EU.

Steps We’ve Taken for GDPR Readiness

Here’s an overview of what we’ve done at Go Digital Science to respond to the standards established by the GDPR:

  1. Partnered with data security experts and advisors with strong industry experience to guide our GDPR readiness efforts.
  2. Updated our Privacy Statement to make it easier to understand what information we collect, how we handle personal data, and what your rights to this data are.
  3. Continued investment in our security infrastructure — our processes and controls meet international standards such as SOC 2, TRUSTe, EU-US Privacy Shield, and Swiss-US Privacy Shield.
