We heavily use Java (Spring) and Javascript (AngularJS) on top of a distributed backend with a significant "cloud service" component. We combine the best of Amazon Web Services, including SQS and Auto-Scaling, with the flexibility of using other services along with our own managed data centers.
We expect that you can write SOLID code, unit test it, and make reasonable decisions about performance and scale as you do so. If you have deeper experience with the cloud, or with Agile, or with web scale, even better. We're always improving how we do things, and we expect that you'll bring new ideas to the table and work collaboratively to move the ball forward.
